B2B beneficiary

Description

B2B beneficiaries are the people that can benefit from a B2B contract part. If a university is paying half the price of the seasonal passes of its students, these students are the B2B beneficiaries.

Ways to link

Beneficiaries are always linked to contract parts, never to contracts. You can link beneficiaries to contract parts based on a list or based on restrictions:

Method

Description

List

A list of all beneficiaries is added to the contract part. This method is used for partners that want to support a specific group of people, of which they can easily retrieve all names (e.g. a university for its students, a company for its employees…).

Restrictions

The beneficiaries are defined through geographic restrictions, age restrictions and/or person profile restrictions. This method is used for contract parts where it is hard to retrieve a list of all beneficiaries or impossible to keep the beneficiary list up to date (e.g. a list of all inhabitants of a city).

Example

A city wants to support all its elderly inhabitants. In that case, a geographic restriction (ZIP code of the city) and an age restriction (+65) will be linked to the contract part.
